Help with stereo speakers? One sounds good. the other doesn't???
Ok. its just a common livingroom stereo. its an RCA rs 2635. and my right speaker has good sound. (more bass). but my left speaker sounds really crappy. like, it has no bass at all.
It used to work fine. i dont know what happened?
Any ideas?

Ohh and also.
I took the box apart that the speaker is in. (thinking it was a loose wire or sometihng) and i found out that theres only one speaker in there!!
They made it look like there was two.
Soo. could the one with ther good bass have two maybe?
That is a common trick with the "shelf" type stereo systems - they make the speakers look big and bad on the outside, but really there is just one speaker working on the inside.
I think the other answer is right, it sounds like you blew the speaker. If you can remove it, maybe you can find a replacement. I would recommend getting one from RCA if possible, it will sound the same as the other speaker.
