has become a huge player in the plasma TV market over the past few years and is definitely right at the forefront of home theater technology.

One of the attractive features of Samsung Plasma Tv is it's sleek design and innovative features. With a high native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and a16:9 aspect ratio. It also includes Samsung's 3D noise reduction and digital detail enhancement.

The result is a Samsung Plasma TV that is superior in color and image quality; thus the picture comes to life with crisp, clear, visuals. As far as price is concerned, the Samsung Plasma TV is very competitive with other major brands and it seems consumers are certainly doing the talking today by directing their attention to Samsung in droves.

Let's take a look at two Samsung Plasma TV models about to make a statement in the market and worth taking a look at if you are in the market to spruce up your home theater viewing experience.

Samsung 7 Series TVs

These are certainly making waves in the television market. For example, the 58" Widescreen PN58A760 is a work of television art. At 58 inches, it's a great size for home theater enthusiasts offering some outstanding features.

Design alone and it stands out among it's nearest competitors. How much life like viewing do you think you will get with 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio? For example, watching a movie like Jurassic Park might just get a little scarier than it already is.

The PN58A760 cuts down on glare and offers maximum contrast plus a resolution of 1920 (H) x 1080 (V). Definitely worth a second look. Yes at between $2800-$4000 it's a little pricey but then consider the amount of television you're getting for that price.

Samsung 50" Widescreen PN50A760

Sleek design is definitely in and there was a time when perhaps Hitachi ruled the sleek design waves but Samsung has made rapid ground in this department and offers exactly that with the 50" Widesceen PN50A760.

Smaller than it's 58" inch series 7 cousin the PN50A760 doesn't lack any of the features and product output it's bigger stablemate has. It's just as effective in delivering real-life television action. It also provides 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and it's color detail is second-to-none.

It has a resolution of 1920 (H) x 1080 (V) and as far as price is concerned, at just under $3000 it's definitely in the scope for those looking for some extra home theater quality.

Both models are likely to make an impact on the television market over the next few months as they start to roll out and will give the Samsung Plasma Tv added impetus in the market.

Panasonic Viera Plasma vs Samsung Plasma TV?

Which one is better .

In my opinion...I believe the Panasonic Viera Plasma is a better brand, but only in the Plasma industry! Samsung is still great in the Plasma business, but not as good as Panasonic.

Don't get me wrong, the Samsung Plasma's still have a beautiful picture, due to their extremely high contrast ratios, and Grade A panels, processors and speakers.

But with the Panasonic in Plasma, they have so much better gases in their Plasmas, which have tended to last much longer than most other Plasmas...Gases in the plasma are the biggest concern, because they can burn out at any time.

Also, Panasonic is one of the only brands that put a "Anti Glare Effect" on their glass panels to help cut down on the glaring effect due to other plasmas by about 40%.

Also another very handy feature, which most plasma's don't as well...Samsung has it too but it doesn't tend to work as good...Panasonic has a "Anti-Image Retention" which basically does a "Scrolling Bar" type effect which helps prevent burn in, which plasma tends, to be the number one rated burned in television in the business at the moment, but with that feature, it helps out A LOT!

Also one very handy feature I find on the Panasonic, is the SD Card input on the television, which NO other brand has! What other T.V. can allow you, to just pop in your S.D. Card from you digital camera, and pull up all your favorite pictures and videos? Nobody does!

Don't get me wrong, Samsung is a great product and always will be...They just aren't the top of the notch in Plasma at the moment...But in LCD, they are number 1 rated! Buy a Samsung LCD, if you ever buy a LCD.

Top Brands:

Plasma: Pioneer, Panasonic, Samsung!

LCD: Samsung, Sony, Sharp!

Those LCD's/Plasma's listed above are you top notch televisions as we speak ! Don't ever question the Samsung or Panasonic products, if you get one, you won't regret it...Until it breaks down at least, and dont whine, they are eletronics, they can break down anywhere from 15 minutes to 15 years.

I myself have a 32" Samsung Model # LNT3253H. It is a beautiful television and have loved it every second!

We never seem to remember furniture or cutlery in our friends places but we surely never forget the high quality TV's. The Panasonic TXP42V10B LCD television is not one you would like to see in your neighbour's home.In terms of styling, quality and TV performance, it stands out amongst its peers. When it comes to LCD Televisions, it is the standard of comparison.

With its NeoPDP panel, this LCD TV can produce brightness levels that are much higher than most plasma TVs. Immediate response time together with 600 hertz allows you to watch a football player running around the pitch without losing resolution and with fluid movement. This is combined with 1080P for full HD picture quality capabilities on suitable HD sources. The Intelligent Frame Creation system sets this LCD television apart from others in its class as it has reduced judder issues.

The Panasonic TXP42V10b LCD TVs also boasts serious acoustic hardware. Those that love Bass performance will not be disappointed as it also comes equipped with Surround Sounds Effects for extra Sound Clarity. Your home theatre system will not need to be thrown away as it comes with an optical output in the back panel for additional sound options.

You do not even need to stop watching your TV when you wish to surf the net. You can hook up to the internet through a built in Ethernet port. You do not even need a mouse or keyboard, your TV remote will suffice. There is more. An extra SD card slot allows you to play AVCHD and DivX video and your favourite pictures. Your TV is quickly turned into a PC with four HDMIs and a D-Sub PC port.

You will never obscure your new Panasonic TX42V10b television from your friends and neighbours. It will easily become the main fixture in any room in your home. It is slim and can fit anywhere in your living room. With a black bezel and glossy silver desktop mount, it looks stunning. Nearly all LCD TV's look great but its black like glass polish is just amazing.

With all the hype in LCD TV's you will be forgiven for thinking that all you will get are just promises. Not with these televisions. It delivers what it promises and more. The fusion between LCD technology and networking capabilities makes it a must have in any home. It has exceptional motion clarity and the Panasonic TXP42V10b's relative affordability makes it a definite buy for those looking for quality.

Ok, I have heard that insted of having a DVD player with a hardrive connected to your TV, you can use something similar to/or a PC hardrive to do it all? I have the connections on the TV so has anyone done it and is it unreal??? What do you buy? just go shopping and by a PC hardrive etc or is there programs you need to get aswell to fully run it? do you control it with a remote or a mouse? can you get towers with blue ray and normal DVD format? Will it play all regions and does the the tower need to have a TV tuner card? also can you connect it so you can record from foxtel and TV channels??? I have a 50" HDTV 1080 plasma from samsung. any help and words of experience appreciated!

I suggest you look into Media Center PCs. One brand is HP. See the link below. They come with various features. I have seen them with not only a blu-ray player, but also a blu ray player/recorder. They can include TV tuner cards with remote controls and IR blasters that will control a cable box or satellite box so you can do timed recording. The Media Center program guide is excellent. You just click on a program in the guide, and it will be recorded when the time comes. Media Center is a Microsoft OS, and you can get it on various manufacturer's PCs besides HP. The most complete PC would include not only everything I've indicated above, but also a cablecard which will allow the PC to record HDTV from cable without a cable box. The computers hook-up to the TV via HDMI or DVI, in versions that have TV output capability.

Getting a new television for the home is a major purchase nowadays. The idea of parting with what could be a couple of hundred notes does tend to concentrate the mind somewhat.

Ensuring that any purchase you make is to all intent and purposes future-proof has to be the most major of all criteria when deciding which TV to buy.

Television over the years has taken a great number of forms from the old days of analogue Black and White, through the launch of colour television to the latest technologies known as Digital Television (DTT). Other ways have been devised to receive digital television. Among the most familiar to people are digital cable and digital satellite. In some countries where transmissions of TV signals are normally achieved by microwaves, digital MMDS is used.

With this article the aim is to take a look at what is on offer with the latest generation of Flat Screen Televisions and in this case the Loewe Concept L32.

The Concept L32 is a 32in LCD TV and the prices for these would be in the region of 1450 pounds sterling or 2900 US dollars. The resolution of the screen is 1366 X 768 and with regards to being HD Ready the answer is yes. The Loewe has 2 (1 RGB) scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the Concept L32 uses is HDMI and 1. The type of Tuner for this TV is Analogue and the Loewe is available from specialised outlets only.

So given this information, what would be our view of the Loewe Concept L32?

Well to start with our score for the picture quality is 8 out of 10, and for the sound quality we would rate it at 8 out of 10. Another useful aspect to review is the availability and number of relevant connections and our score here would be 10 out of 10. With regards to the overall level of features, our view would be 8 out of 10 and for ease of use and overall value for money we would give it, 8 out of 10 and 8 out of 10 respectively.

Finally our overall opinion would be this TV looks terrific and in some cases the colours add real value and striking images but when you look at something Hi-def then some of the blue tints and granular effects aren't that appealing.

With the wide range and variety of makes and models available for you to choose from it is unlikely that you will not find something to suite your taste or satisfy any budgetary constraints that you might have. The choice, as they say, is completely down to you to decide whether to stay at the forefront of what are rapidly changing technologies and fashion or to remain part of the safer but perhaps better developed mainstream. We hope that after reading this article you will find yourself better informed and as such it will mean that really it will not matter which rout you take.

Please be aware that the prices quoted in this article are taken from a number of leading e-commerce websites and as such should be taken as guides and indications of prices rather than absolute quotes.
